| Our newest and best early coloring super red strain of Delicious.
Originated as a complete tree sport of Campbell Strain in the orchards of Ray Sandidge, Entiat, Washington. This strain starts out as a stripe and fills in to a solid red ten days ahead of harvest.
We feel this variety will give eastern growers a distinct early coloring and market advantage.
An improved sport of one of the most widely planted Red Delicious strains, Super Chief® colors 18 days earlier than its parent, Campbell Red.
A very spurry tree, producing typey red fruit. Super Chief® colors with a stripe that finishes with an even dark crimson hue and faint striping. |
